Our Mission
To provide Fleet operational services and infrastructure management to support Combat Logistics Force homeporting, ordnance functions, and tenant activities in execution of the National Military Strategy.
NWS Earle is one of the most serene and beautiful Navy installations in the country. It is set within over 11,000 acres of mostly wooded land in which the deer and chipmunks outnumber the people. Our main-side complex, in Colts Neck Township, is nestled within an upscale community of horse farms, fruit orchards and country estates. Our waterfront site, located 14 miles away in Leonardo, is situated in Sandy Hook Bay overlooking the New York Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean.
Naval Weapons Station Earle is the Navy's premier ordnance facility on the east coast. NWS Earle is responsible for moving over 50% of the Atlantic Fleet ordnance. The Atlantic Ordnance Command provides ammunition for nearly every ship class operated by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard, as well as commercial vessels from other countries.
